Backstory: Lucas Weatherford was born many many years ago to parents Celia and Fredrick Weatherford in Yorkshire of England. As his parents were both magic teachers, He found himself fascinated with the art of teaching magic, and strived to follow in his parents steps and become a teacher himself. At the proper age, he was invited to attend Hogwarts as a student, and it was there that he started on his way of reaching his all time goal. He was sorted into Ravenclaw due to his intelligence and thirst for knowledge, and being that his parents had both been Ravenclaws themselves they were most pleased. At the age of sixteen his mother fell ill, and after a few short months she passed away. He vowed to reach his goal no matter what, and pass on the knowledge that she, and many others had passed onto him.
After he graduated from Hogwarts, he travelled across the world in search of magical scholars in order to further hi studies even more. He moved from place to place, learning under one witch or wizard then the next. This took many years, and along those years, his father passed away while he had been teaching in Asia. As soon as he got word of this he'd left Asia and returned to England to attend the funeral. After the funeral, directly after, he was approached and asked to come to Hogwarts, the school he had attended as a boy, to be a teacher. It was no surprise that he instantly said yes and began teaching Potions, then Defense Against the Dark Arts, and finally Care for Magical Creatures before he was, quite recently, promoted to Headmaster of Hogwarts. This was, of course, more than he could have ever dreamed of, and he's dead set on honouring the title, and making the memory of his parents proud.
