A covered stone cloister with an open colonnade runs around it. Students had gathered long ago after classes taking up most of the cobble stone benches. Talking of their summer and or schooling, while a few of them sat close nit playing Gobstones. A game Evangalene had not quite grabbed the concept up. But she was more then determined to learn how to play. Blond hair pulled up into a pony tail as her bag swung on her side. Bottom lip between her teeth as she wiggled her way in between the small croud, catching a now empty seat on the side. Close to one of the hallways she let her bag drop to the floor as her foot gently tucked the leather satchel under the bench. Eyes now locked onto the game before her as she leaned over watched the little stones be flicked into the center circle. She watched in silence for the most part, taking a moment here and there to take a glance around. As soon as the Veela turned her head she watched as a player's stone had been knocked out of the circle. The stone then stopped rolling, turned to the other player and spat out putrid liquid at the male. As he, as well as most of the other onlookers turned to move away, most of the liquid sprayed onto Eve's skirt. What a way to end a Friday.
There was something so mixed about the beginning of this new year at Hogwarts for Sungmin. It was bittersweet, like a tragic comedy. He was feeling both excited, and forelorn, as it was his last year attending the school that had been like a second home to him for so long. It was the end of his first week back at Hogwarts, and it was the last first week he was ever going to have there. He was anticipating his graduation though, and was expecting to graduate with top marks, and hopefully, top connections too. He wasn't going to settle for anything less. Seventeen and already a businessman. Could you expect anything less from a Slytherin?
After his classes for the day, and taking care of his homework, Sungmin decided to go for a walk down by the lake. There was a particular spot he enjoyed, but there was a catch. The shortcut he tended to take, took him through the courtyard, and at this time of day, was likely to be filled with students. Sungmin was a bit of a loner, and didn't tend to spend much time around others unless there was something in it for him. But, alas. He strolled through anyway. As he figured, there were students all over. Sitting standing, fooling around. Some happened to be playing a game of gobstones, and just as he happened by, one of the stones spat at a player, who moved just in time for the disgusting spittle to land on the skirt of a fellow Slytherin.
He recognized her to be the new transfer from Beauxbaton's Academy of Magic, Evangalene Hale. Without an initial word, he took a handkerchief from his robe, and offered it to her. "Here." He spoke simply. "To wipe off your skirt." Of course, she could easily just go change. But that smell was terrible, and it had to be uncomfortable. Besides. A connection in France might not be such a bad thing.

"--..." Well wasn't this just perfect. Her skirt smelled of Rotten Mutton and some unmentionable smell she wanted nothing to do with. It would soon seep into the fabric if she did not remove it quickly. 'I'm so sorry. I thought you knew to move. I didn't--I meant you know.Look let me get it for you' The young boy scattered around his things and hurriedly moved to his feet. Dusting himself off before the Veela held up a hand. "Merci. It was not your fault" Pursed lips gave way of her true feelings of disgust. The game no longer having any appeal towards the Slytherin. Eyes closed briefly before she turned with a silent groan. So much for having a small walk about the school grounds; now she needed to change. While bending down to reach for her bag, a hand shot down in front of her.
'Here' The boy replied offering her a handkerchief. Where had he come from? Had he been there the entire time and hadn't warned her to move? Well that was rude wasn't it? Then again, she supposed he made up for it in lending her something to begin removing the putrid liquid. "Mer--" Taking the handkerchief she paused and looked up to him. "Thank you" One could easily tell her English was broken, and by how often she hesitated in her speech, it took her some time to remember the English words she had learned. "Yes, thank you" Evangalene couldn't help the light glow that soon emitted around her. Wiping the liquid off of her skirt she tugged at the hem holding it taught she she could dab some at the liquid that seeped. Other's around them soon turned to ask if she was fine as well before grabbing their things to clear the path.
"That, that was very kind of you. You didn't have to do that" A small smile tugged at the corner of her lips as she moved to hand him back the cloth before thinking other wise. "I'll, have an Elf return this back to you once It's clean" She said balling the now damp cloth up into her hand.
