Most students spent their Friday afternoons hanging around the grounds with their friends, talking about classes or doing their homework together. Often they would walk down by the lake to skip stones, or head for the Great Hall for a snack. Feliha, on the other hand, didn't have time for such frivolity.
She was out in a mostly secluded corner of the grounds, a good distance from the castle. A small folding table stood before her, a glass goblet on it's surface. Scorch marks and large chips in the wood surrounded the delicate item. Feliha narrowed her eyes on the object that had continued to defy her for the last hour, pointing her wand at it for the thousandth time.
"Accio!"
The goblet didn't move. Instead, sparks exploded from the end of her wand shooting in every direction like enraged rockets, several of them lighting her robes on fire. Feliha yelped and quickly patted them out. She directed a furious glare at the goblet. "Can't you just bloody do what you're supposed to?" she asked.
Of course, it didn't reply.
Feliha took a deep breath and counted to ten then brushed her hair out of her eyes and took her stance again, concentrating on the goblet. "Accio!" This time she felt her wand shudder in her hand before it blew her backwards. The force of the flameless explosion knocked the wind out of her, and her landing didn't help any. Feliha laid there for a few minutes, just trying to get her breath back.
A small glance towards the table showed it untouched, the goblet mocking her in it's silent wholeness.
